Insurance

We accept most dental insurance plans and we are always happy to help you file your insurance claims, but our speed and efficiency is only as good as the information you give us. Please notify our office of any changes to your policy as soon as possible. You may submit your changes by printing and filling out the appropriate information on our Patient Information Form (PDF / 1.97 MB) and bringing it with you when you come in for your child's appointment.
 


FAQ

When should I schedule my child's first dental visit?
Children should begin visiting the pediatric dentist between the ages of 1 and 3 years. A child's initial dental visit will often set the tone for subsequent attitudes about dental care and oral health.
May I accompany my child?
Parents are encouraged to come into the treatment area on the first visit to see the office and to meet Dr. Rogers. The staff will make a great effort to ensure that your child feels comfortable in our office. After all, that's what we are truly here for!
We hope that you will become comfortable enough to allow them to enter the treatment area by themselves on subsequent visits. Occasionally, Dr. Rogers may feel that a child would respond with better behavior if a parent is present.
If we do ask a parent or guardian to accompany their child into the treatment area, we suggest that they act as a "silent & supportive" observer only. It is important for us to establish cooperation and trust directly with each patient.
What about follow-up visits?
Based on the results of your child's first visit and initial examination, we may recommend one or more follow-up visits for the completion of any existing dental treatment. We also recommend that your child be seen every six months for preventive care. We will mail you a postcard reminding you of your child's scheduled six-month checkup.
During these biannual appointments, Dr. Rogers will also assess your child's dental and skeletal development and how it relates to future orthodontic treatment. Dr. Rogers is trained in the application of interceptive orthodontics and will regularly disuss treatment options if needed.
Many times extensive and costly dental and orthodontic treatment can be avoided through timely pediatric care as the face, jaws and teeth are developing.

We make every effort to confirm all appointments a day in advance and will require 24-hours notice to reschedule an appointment.

In consideration of our other patients, please make every effort to be on time, as arriving late may require us to reschedule your child's appointment.

Sedation Appointments
If you are making a sedation appointment you may be asked to bring your child at a particular time. We have learned through experience that this procedure is accepted during the earlier parts of the day.

We do not sest aside "emergency time" on a daily basis. Occasionally, treating an emergency will cause us to run slightly late with our regularly scheduled patients. when this occurs, we apologize, request your understanding, and will do our best to keep you informed.
